TPRS Crash Course

Are you new to TPRS and thinking about attending the conference known as “The Agen Workshop”?

Don’t feel like a newbie, and take the TPRS Crash Course, so you can start the conference with insider knowledge about TPRS and CI, and  essential CI teaching skills. You will feel more confident and you will profit more from the myriad of interesting presentations at the conference.

What is the TPRS Crash Course?

The TPRS crash course is an inspiring, eye-opening two-and-a-half-day training that will teach you the fundamentals of TPRS. It provides a solid foundation to get started as a TPRS teacher, and will give you the necessary background to optimize your experiences at the Agen Workshop.

The TPRS crash course gives you the essentials of our acclaimed year-long Teacher Training.

What will you learn?

We will demonstrate and practice the fundamental skills of TPRS and CI-based teaching. We will also discuss brain principles and how they affect the things we do in teaching language.

Materials

Three weeks before the crash course, you will receive essential readings on language acquisition., which you will be expected to read before the Crash Course.
The handouts you receive during the training will provide you with additional practical insights, tips and tricks.

Certificate

At the end of the crash course you will receive a certificate of completion.

Who should apply?

All of you who are new to TPRS/CI and wish to be well prepared for the myriad of interesting presentations at the Agen Workshop.

  • Time: 10-17 on Saturday and Sunday, 9-12 on Monday
  • Location: Lycée Saint Caprais, Agen, France
  • Fee: $295 per person
  • Minimum 10 / Maximum 20 participants
